Happy 50th Birthday to me.............

Thought we might all enjoy a BLAST FROM THE PAST! Can't believe the baby of the family is the BIG 50! Guess the rest of you feel pretty OLDDDDDDDDD!!! LOL

Rob and I went to Whistler for our first Mountain Biking Trip of the year last weekend. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. The weather was bright and sunny, but not too hot. In fact, it was so nice, they decided to keep the bike park open until 8 pm! We had a full day of biking and we were exhausted when we were done.

We saw several bears. We haven't been up there in the summer yet without seeing bears. It is so cool to see them coming right toward the trails where you are biking.

This time we also saw some deer. Can you see him?


The Peak to Peak Gondola was open for summer and when we went on opening day it was totally fogged in. So midday we decided to go up the mountain and check it out on a sunny day. There was still a lot of snow left on the ground the further we went up.

Fishing Fun...............

Aunt Cynde invited us fishing with her and Missie's boys...........They LOVED it! Kolton had a great time. Braedon & Kolton are great buds now..... Thanks Aunt Cynde we had a wonderful time!

Another Graduation......

Kolton graduated from Preschool on May 22, 2009. The graduation was held with a final program with a 50's theme. He LOVED it! Hope you enjoy the pictures. P.S. He wanted his graduation hat on sideways so he wouldn't mess up his 50's flipped back bangs.......He's a Hoot!

Teaching Skiing!

Rob convinced me to teach skiing with him this year. He had a class of 7-9 year olds. I had a class of 4 year olds. We both had a great ski season (minus Rob's knee injury that is). Our kids were a lot of fun and it was fun to get to spend so much time together on Saturdays. It was a fun experience and I'm glad he convinced me to try it. Rob had the great idea of making videos for the kids and their parents. So we each made one. We also uploaded them on youtube.

October - Halloween Fun

Halloween was so much fun this year. Kolton was so excited. To help build up the suspense to Trick or Treat Day, I decided that we would have a spooky menu item for the week leading up to halloween. The menus included....Monster Soup Faces, Creepy Crawler Meatballs, Monster Tacos, Mummy Wrap (our favorite) and finally.........Potato Snakes, Mouse Meatloaves, Mummy Toes, & Mummy Celery Sticks. It was a fun week!
